Nepali Tara: Creating an Image for Her Career


Indira Joshi is a 23-year-old up-and-coming singer. Originally from Parasi Bazaar in Nawalparasi, Indira's family moved to Kathmandu about five years ago. She jump started her music career by appearing on Nepali Tara, the Nepali version of American Idol. Since then, she has taken advice from music producers and grooming instructors on how to project a specific image to the public for the benefit of her music career. In addition to being able to sing well, Indira has learned it is also important to speak well and be good looking.
